I think I may have forgotten to post another page that Dan sent me, might be another post right around the corner.

A place for all things west of weird
I think I may have forgotten to post another page that Dan sent me, might be another post right around the corner.

Not sure how “Slim” Tim Umpleby finds time to create an original piece of art when he’s been promoted to full time inker and colorist while prepping for his final portfolio show, but hey, he did.

I don’t want to spoil the surprise but this one is going to be epic.

Sorry, lame joke. The cover for the next issue should be up next week-

Looks like NPRS and a few of our simian friends are sending a few of those hillbillies to the old marble orchard. How’s it all going to shake out is anyone’s guess. This issue is totally Dan and Tim, I’ll probably pop in for some last minute inks, colors and letters but I’m leaving this baby to the pros-

Literally. Thanks to a new fan/friend of the Weird West name Colin K. Alexander is full scale and once cast should be a display mask, possibly wearable.
What are the odds of that maquette of Jameson Hunter being finished before the toy of NRS? I would say pretty strong, unfortunately.

Like I said, I’m going to try like hell to post every (or other) Friday to keep the weirdos in the loop. I have a ton of pencils from Danny and work from Tim as well as some sculpture work from a guy we met at C2E2 so stay tuned. Till next Friday, take a look at some time lapse inking and coloring on Tim’s new toy-
Welcome back partners –
I know I haven’t been the most regular when it comes to updating this site but I promise that will change this year. This show put enough fuel in our tanks to get us through the whole year. Every other Friday will have a new post with content pertaining to our favorite drifter and the exploits of all the weirdos surrounding him (her?)
Just wanted to take a moment to say thank you to all of our amazing fans. We have the very best (and best looking 😉 fan base of any comic out there. To all our peeps who have supported us from the beginning, thank you from the bottom of our hearts. To all the new strangers that were pulled into this bizarre orbit, hopefully we did not disappoint. From Michigan to Ohio, the Weird West is growing faster than we ever could have imagined. We have shows in Il, Wi and Ia coming this year so stay tuned, till then check out some of the pics from last weekend — happy trails
First weekend of April I believe? Sorry for the break in action, it’s been nuts trying to get this joker in on time. The good news is I think we are hitting our deadline and will have this issue out for the big show and subsequent show season (can’t wait to see you all again). Dan is coming in town for this one so for all you weird westerners, stop by and say “howdy”. We learned a lot about color and lettering, this one should not disappoint.
